There is something truly special about turning memories into something you can hold onto forever. Whether it's a keepsake from loved ones clothing or a personalized gift created for someone special, every piece tells a story and is made with love.

Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of your biggest memories. It is an honor to create such cherished treasures.

Where Stories Begin & Memories Are Made

One of my favorite parts of creating personalized reading pillows is hearing how families use and enjoy them long after they're gifted. My friend Jaci shared this sweet message with me after two of her daughters received personalized reading pillows as birthday gifts from my children:

"We love our pillows! They've been CLUTCH for the tooth fairy as well when we worry a sister might mess with it."

When each child has their own pillow with their name on it, there's no question about whose special treasures belong where. Whether it's a favorite book, a flashlight for bedtime reading, or a visit from the tooth fairy, having a personalized pocket gives each child a place that's all their own.

Preserving A Love Story for Generations

When my firstborn was baptized, I made her gown from the train of my wedding dress. Later, I made my son's vest from the same fabric. It became a way to preserve one of the most special days of my life while creating new memories.

A friend asked if I could do the same for her daughter. I'll admit, I was hesitant knowing her dress held so much love and memories. What a privilege it was that she trusted me with something so irreplaceable! That trust meant everything.

When I finished the gown and saw her daughter wearing it, I was overwhelmed with joy. I couldn't believe I had the honor of creating something so meaningful. Today, both of her daughters have been baptized in that same gown.

After receiving the dress, she shared:

"I gave Savannah the challenge of making Matilda’s baptism dress out of my wedding dress. She was hesitant, but I knew she would do an phenomenal job and I had full faith. Can I just say how IMPRESSED I am with this! It turned out BEAUTIFUL and is so very special to us. Can’t wait for Matilda to wear it."

When I asked if I could share her story, she replied:

"Yeah girl! Your work needs to be put out for everyone to see. Still am so thankful for that dress you made and both girls wearing it."

Those words remind me why I do what I do. Creating heirloom pieces is about so much more than sewing—it's about preserving love stories and honoring the trust my clients place in me. Being invited into those moments is a gift I'll never take for granted.

Forever in Bloom: Flowers That Last as Long as the Memories

Some flowers are meant to last far beyond the wedding day.

When my aunt's best friend, Jennifer, asked me to create the bouquets and boutonnieres for her wedding, I was honored to be a small part of such a special day.

Unlike fresh flowers that wilt with time, silk flowers remain just as beautiful as the day they were carried. They become a reminder of the vows, the laughter, the happy tears, and the love that filled the day.

Years from now, her bouquet can still be displayed, held, and cherished as those precious memories back to life.

Jennifer's response pulled my heart strings when I asked to share her story:

"ABSOLUTELY! You do absolutely BEAUTIFUL work and you should do it for a career."

A message like this is why I love creating keepsakes. It's never just about what I am making, like the bouquets and boutonnieres—it's about creating something that will forever be in bloom, just like the memories they represent.
